Tesla Expands India Presence with Delhi-NCR Showroom and Supercharger Rollout

Tesla, the US-based electric vehicle giant, has opened its first showroom in Delhi’s Aerocity, marking its second major outlet in India after Mumbai. This expansion comes as the company gears up for deliveries in September and accelerates its supercharging infrastructure rollout in key Indian cities, including Delhi-NCR, Mumbai, and Bengaluru. Upcoming charging points will be available in Gurugram, Saket, and Noida, supporting seamless customer experiences across India’s main metros.

The new showroom features Tesla’s Model Y, available in variants tailored for Indian conditions, with prices starting at ₹59.89 lakh. Customers can also access Tesla’s full self-driving upgrade and a selection of premium trims. The company is planning additional support options, such as mobile service units, remote diagnostics, and certified repair centres, to enhance after-sales convenience and maintenance standards.

By focusing on infrastructure development alongside its product push, Tesla aims to address range anxiety and position itself strongly in the competitive Indian EV market. Its presence in Mumbai, Delhi, and Gurugram, and the promise of expanding to Bangalore, signal Tesla’s long-term commitment to the region.
