Employee-Driven Volunteering Effort

Vedanta Aluminium has carried out one of its largest hand- driven community enterprise, mobilising around 1,800 staff members to support development programmes across three countries. The exertion coincided with International Volunteer Day for Economic and Social Development and brought together brigades working in Odisha, Chhattisgarh and Andhra Pradesh. Their combined sweats added up to 4,000 hours of service, original to nearly 167 days of voluntary work.
