Waaree Secures 40 MWhr Battery Storage EPC Project

Waaree Renewable Technologies Limited (WRTL) today stated that it has won a Letter of Award (LoA) from Continuum Green Energy Limited to execute an Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) order for a 40 megawatt-hour (MWhr) battery storage installation. The project, to be implemented at wind-solar hybrid locations in Gujarat, is a landmark moment in India's shift towards renewable energy. The cost of the project is estimated at INR 40 crores.
This project will utilize lithium iron phosphate (LFP) based liquid-cooled containerized battery energy storage system (BESS) technology. The project will be undertaken on a Lump Sum Turnkey (LSTK) contract, integrating the solar project as one battery storage system. This project highlights Waaree Renewable Technologies' increasing experience in integrated EPC solutions and demonstrates the company's dedication to developing India's renewable energy infrastructure.
