In its BRSR FY25, company says it is more focused on saving energy, using more renewable energy and providing healthcare in a sustainable way while addressing major areas like saving water, reducing waste and improving air quality.
With an initiative like improving energy systems, captive power agreements, making air conditioning (HVAC) more efficient, and planting trees, company reduces its energy consumption to 6.35 MJ per ₹ crore turnover compared to 6.85 last year. The hospital’s air quality also improved, bringing down (PM) level from 124 to 83 and reducing Sox to 13. For water usage, hospital has installed sewage treatment plants and low flow taps, which lowered the usage of water to 20.29 KL per ₹ million turnovers from 23.64 last year.
Yatharth Hospital CSR efforts to help nearby communities, women empowerment, training to underprivileged groups with new skills. The total number of employees are 5,017 out of its total 43% are women which shows company’s value inclusivity. Every employee gets benefits such as health insurance, gratuity, and other legal benefits. All staff are trained on topics like ESG, safety, POSH and disaster management. While one fatal accident was reported but overall, the hospitals remained safe and well managed.
Yatharth Hospitals follows all 9 principles of the NGRBC, with policies approved by Board which includes ethics, transparency, human rights, employee welfare and sustainability. The company has no corruption case, conflict of interest or regulatory noncompliance which reflects strong governance practices. The feedback of patient is actively addressed through digital systems and grievance redressal platforms which ensures transparency and trust.
The firm aims to go further with ESG practices. The company is working towards water neutrality. It also plans to use more renewable energy and build stronger trust with patients, employees and other partners. The main goal is to keep sustainability at the heart of the healthcare services.
