AUM Premium Unveils Plans To Introduce 100% Plastic Free Bottles

Natural Himalayan spring water brand AUM Premium is set to unveil new paper-based bottle packaging by the end of this year. The new packaging format is designed to minimise the use of plastic and provide a more environment friendly alternative to packaging without compromising the premium quality of the water from the bottle.

According to the firm, creating a paper bottle with a food-grade barrier and ethically produced materials reduces the amount of conventional plastic used without sacrificing the product's quality. Furthermore, it is anticipated that the lightweight design will improve transportation efficiency and lessen the total environmental impact of distribution and packing. AUM Premium hopes to investigate packaging options that integrate customer convenience, environmental responsibility, and usefulness.

Additionally, the company recently teamed with Scrapbuddy, a waste management and recycling business located in Delhi, to provide its consumers an easy-to-use bottle recycling service. This partnership will encourage the appropriate recycling of packaging trash, which will help minimise landfill waste and establish a more circular packaging strategy.

Jagriti Motwani, Founder & CEO, AUM Premium, said, "Water is a product people consume every day, but the conversation around it has largely remained limited to purity and price. Packaging deserves equal attention. Our objective is to reduce unnecessary plastic wherever possible without compromising product quality. The paper-based bottle is one step in that direction, and we will continue exploring better alternatives as the technology evolves."

The industry standard for bottled water is conventional plastic packaging, but AUM Premium has decided to go a different route from the start.
