CM Yogi Oversees Amrit Snan Arrangements At 3:30 AM

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath chaired a high-level review meeting at 3:30 AM from the war room at his official residence to take stock of preparations for the Amrit Snan at the Mahakumbh. The holy bathing ritual, which is highly sacred, saw thousands of devotees throng the confluence of the Ganga, Yamuna, and Saraswati rivers.

During the meeting, the Chief Minister kept in contact with the DGP, Principal Secretary (Home), and the officials of CMO. He monitored the arrangement and gave major instructions to carry out the programme without any halt. The CM stressed that different administrative departments would need to cooperate in a streamlined manner to create a safe, well-organised experience for the devotees and saints involved in the holy event.

Security was of utmost importance during the review. The Chief Minister ordered officials to put in place high security measures at the bathing site and in the surrounding areas. Special instructions were issued to provide sufficient police personnel to handle the huge influx of devotees and to maintain law and order throughout the event. CM Yogi asserted that nothing should be left undone for ensuring safety for everyone-whether a saint or a pilgrim. He also asked for vigilance at the peak levels so that any untoward incident may be avoided in this mega religious event.

Along with security, Chief Minister laid great emphasis on traffic management. Thousands were arriving at the Sangam for Amrit Snan, and traffic congestion was a major issue. CM Yogi instructed the officials to create efficient traffic diversion plans and deploy people to guide devotees to particular parking areas and entry points so that there would be less inconvenience to the pilgrims and they could access the bathing site easily.

The Chief Minister also reviewed logistic arrangements, wherein clean drinking water, medical facility, and proper temporary shelters of devotees, were arranged properly. He has instructed the authorities to ensure provision of all possible amenities and keep proper sanitation protocols and waste disposal in place while maintaining cleanliness from dawn till night at the ghats.

CM Yogi emphasized administrative readiness and reiterated that coordination between different departments should be prompt. He asked officials to be vigilant and responsive to issues that may crop up during the event. The Chief Minister also sought continuous updates from ground-level officials to monitor the situation in real time.

As part of the inspection, CM Yogi reviewed crowd management strategies implemented at the bathing ghats. With Amrit Snan being a significant attraction for devotees, managing the massive crowds was a critical challenge. The Chief Minister directed officials to deploy adequate personnel and volunteers to guide and assist pilgrims, ensuring that they could perform their rituals without any hindrance.

The Chief Minister appreciated the effort made by administrative officers, security officials, and volunteers who have put in such laborious work into making this program a huge success. He thanks them for making all possible efforts to achieve a state committed to making everyone experience safety as well as spirituality while attending such functions.

CM Yogi had taken proactive efforts and reviewed in detail the preparation of Amrit Snan; he was careful about the great event's hassle-free conduct. He personally watched the arrangements going on and released key instructions by himself, ensuring that the proper administrative leadership towards the welfare of devotees did not lack an iota of efforts.
