Delhi is currently witnessing mild chill during the early morning and evening hours, but the intensity of sunlight during the day has increased noticeably. The maximum temperature in the capital has reached close to 30 degrees Celsius.
In Delhi-NCR heat has started increasing and temperature is rising even before Holi. Winter is almost over but only mild child is felt during early morning and late night. The sunlight has become so strong during daytime, people are feeling so uncomfortable. Right now, winds are blowing at the speed of 17 km per hour, which is helping maintain slight coolness in the morning and evening. However, daytime temperatures are rising steadily. On Sunday, the maximum temperature in Delhi was recorded at 29.7°C, while the minimum temperature was 12°C.
Weather in Delhi Today
As per the weather department, the sky is likely to be clear throughout the day. There might be light haze in the morning, but it is expected to clear out as the day progresses. The sun is expected to shine brightly throughout the day, and the intensity of heat might increase in the afternoon. The maximum temperature is expected to touch 30°C, while the minimum temperature might remain around 13°C.
Strong Winds Expected for Two Days
According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), there will be no major change in the weather on Tuesday. The sky will remain clear, and the maximum temperatures will remain around 30°C. The minimum temperature is also expected to rise by 2 degrees and may touch 15°C.
From 25th February, there may be a slight change in the weather. Even though the sky is expected to be clear, there may be strong winds of 15-25 km per hour. On that day, the maximum temperature is expected to be around 20°C, and the minimum temperature will be around 14°C. The same weather conditions are expected to prevail on 26th February as well.
The weather in Delhi is expected to remain clear throughout this week, and there are no chances of rain. Because of intense sunshine, the temperatures are expected to rise further, which may cause heat discomfort in the coming days. The night temperatures are also gradually increasing and may reach 15°C by the end of February. After that, even the nights are expected to become warmer.
During the day, the intensity of the sun is expected to increase further, and the afternoons will become hotter and uncomfortable. At present, there are no reports about the change in weather when Holi is approaching.
