Loom Solar has crossed ₹1,000 crore in annual turnover and plans to expand its manufacturing capacity, distribution network and residential solar installations across India by 2030.

Loom Solar Crosses ₹1,000 Crore Revenue Mark in FY2025–26

Loom Solar has announced that it has crossed ₹1,000 crore in annual turnover. The company said the milestone reflects its expansion in solar manufacturing, distribution networks and product development since its establishment in 2018.

The company, which initially focused on addressing energy access challenges in rural and Tier-3 regions, has expanded its presence across residential rooftop, commercial and utility-scale solar segments. Its product portfolio includes solar modules such as SHARK Bifacial, TOPCon and HJT panels, along with CAML Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and FUSION Hybrid Inverters, which are manufactured in India.

Amod Anand, Co-Founder and Director of Loom Solar, said, “When we founded Loom nearly eight years ago, solar energy in India was largely confined to select urban pockets and a limited set of government-driven projects. Awareness was low, distribution infrastructure was nascent, and policy focus had yet to extend to the vast majority of the country. The rural population particularly those in villages and Tier-3 cities desperately needed reliable, affordable energy, but the ecosystem to deliver it simply did not exist. That gap is what drove us. Today, crossing ₹1,000 crore in turnover is not just a business milestone; it is proof that the vision of democratising solar energy in India was right all along."

As per the firm, the achievement of the turnover comes from investments made in manufacturing, distribution infrastructure, and product development. Currently, Loom Solar has manufacturing plants for photovoltaic panels, inverters, and energy storage. It was noted by the firm that its manufacturing plants are accredited as per the standards of ALMM, BIS, IEC, and ISO and that its goal is to achieve 1.2 GW of capacity for solar panel manufacturing and 1 GW for inverters by 2026.

Loom Solar said it employs more than 300 professionals and operates through six regional warehouses located in Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, Lucknow and Faridabad. Its distribution network includes more than 15,000 channel partners and 500 distributors. The company also exports its products to 11 countries.

Speaking about the company's growth trajectory, Anand said, “Over the past eight years, we have consistently introduced technologies and product categories that were entirely new to the Indian market. Our evolution from first-generation mono modules to advanced TOPCon and HJT solar panels, integrated BESS, and Fusion Hybrid Inverters — closely mirrors India's own solar transformation: from a nascent, project-driven sector to a mature, consumer-led industry.”

Looking ahead, the company has outlined its Vision 2030 strategy, which includes a target of installing solar modules and battery energy storage systems in more than one million homes across India. Loom Solar stated that the objective aligns with government initiatives such as the PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana and the PM-KUSUM programme.

As per the company’s claims, it has catered to more than one lakh consumers and is building an expanding product and services portfolio in order to meet the increasing demands of residences and businesses for solar power. According to Loom Solar, another reason behind the growth of the company has been the completion of project installations with capacities up to 35 MW.
