Max Estates Plants Trees for Visitors at New Gurugram Project Launch
Max Estates partners with SankalpTaru to plant a sapling for each visitor to its new Estate 361 experience centre in Gurugram.
Max Estates Limited has begun a sustainability initiative at its newly launched Estate 361 experience centre, partnering with the NGO SankalpTaru Foundation. For the first 1,000 visitors, a sapling will be planted in their name, supporting the restoration of India's green cover through technology-led afforestation.
The initiative connects to the Max Estates LiveWell philosophy, which focuses on wellbeing through thoughtful design, ecological care, and community. It reflects the core concept of the Estate 361 project itself, which is marketed as a "forest-anchored community" in Gurugram's Sector 36A.
Each of the 1,000 visitors will receive a personalised planting certificate showing the exact geotagged coordinates where their tree is planted. Participants will also receive digital updates on their sapling's growth, allowing them to follow its development over time.
The scheme aims to make the project launch more meaningful by connecting property launch activity directly to environmental stewardship and community building. It demonstrates an effort to extend the development's ethos beyond its physical boundaries into wider ecological efforts.
Estate 361 is an 18.23-acre residential development designed to feature over 250,000 square feet of forest green space. This area will contain more than 1,000 indigenous trees from over 50 species, carefully selected to thrive in the local Gurugram climate.
The project holds an IGBC Platinum Pre-certification for sustainability. Its first phase will include a large clubhouse, The Hub, offering residents over 200,000 square feet of amenities including an all-weather pool, gym, spa, dining, and sports courts.
SankalpTaru Foundation uses technology to ensure transparency, recording each sapling on a blockchain and monitoring it via satellite imagery. This provides verifiable proof of growth and environmental impact, distinguishing its afforestation approach.
Max Estates and SankalpTaru state the partnership aims to create a lasting environmental legacy, with each tree representing a step towards a more sustainable planet. Max Estates, established in 2016 and listed on Indian stock exchanges, develops premium spaces in the Delhi NCR region.
