Delhi experiences a week-long spell of monsoon showers, bringing much-needed relief from humid heat
Delhi NCR people have been suffering from the sticky heat since many days but now hope of relief has arrived. Heavy rains in Delhi have begun now. According to Indian Meteorological Department, people of Delhi can expect light to moderate rainfall today and on Wednesday. Because of which the temperature may drop down, and it will provide relief from heat and weather will become pleasant.
Delhi is soaking in the rain
This morning, Delhi NCR has seen a colorful show of weather with heavy rain. The sky will be cloudy today, the IMD says, with possibilities of further rains. The Meteorological Department has predicted a maximum of about 30°C and a minimum of approximately 24°C for today. There could be light to moderate rain in some places, with thunder and lightning.
Since Monday morning, parts of the capital have been under a cloud cover. During the afternoon, light drizzles were experienced in some regions, providing relief to people. Nevertheless, as a result of water content in the air, humidity did not go away, and even with the dip in temperature, individuals were observed sweating profusely.
Weather In Delhi Tomorrow
As per the Meteorological Department, the weather in Delhi on Wednesday will remain same without any difference. The sky will remain cloudy, and the maximum temperature can reach up to 31°C. There is also a possibility of light rainfall, which is going to lower the daytime temperature to a certain extent.
Rain to Continue This Week
The IMD reports intermittent rain in Delhi-NCR until August 3. The maximum temperature, in this case, will remain between 31°C to 33°C, while the minimum will be between 24°C to 26°C. Meteorologists opine that monsoon is slowly gaining momentum in the capital, and there can be more extensive rain showers in the next couple of days.
