PM Modi Flags Off 200 Electric Buses in Delhi

On World Environment Day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi flagged off 200 electric buses in Delhi with the aim to boost sustainable development and make Delhi travel more eco-friendly.The Delhi government started this project to launch e-buses.
The PM highlighted that this move would contribute to build a clean and green Delhi. He further stated that it will also make life easier for the people living in Delhi.
The PM posted on X thread, "Building a clean and green Delhi! Flagged off Electric Buses under an initiative of the Delhi Government aimed at boosting sustainable development and clean urban mobility. Additionally, this will also improve 'Ease of Living' for the people of Delhi."
The event was attended by Delhi’s Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena, Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, Environment Minister Bhupender Yadav, and Delhi Minister Manjinder Singh Sirsa.
As part of the "Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam" tree-planting campaign, Prime Minister Modi also planted a sapling at Bhagwan Mahavir Vanasthali Park in Delhi.
