SOS Children's Villages India organised an art workshop at KNMA, where 50 children participated in guided tours, painting activities, and creative expression exercises.
SOS Children's Villages India organised an art workshop for 50 children at the Kiran Nadar Museum of Art (KNMA), offering them an opportunity to engage with artworks and participate in creative activities in a gallery setting.
Cooperation was also highlighted by the officials in view of the fact that India could gain from the cooperation with Canada through its abundant mineral deposits and mining technology while on the other hand, Canada could utilise India’s developing clean energy value chain through collaboration.
Following the tour, the participants took part in painting and visual expression activities. Through guided exercises, they explored different forms of artistic expression, interpreted artworks, and expressed their ideas and emotions through their own creations.
Sumanta Kar, CEO, SOS Children's Villages India, said, "At SOS India, we believe every child deserves opportunities that help them discover their potential and express themselves freely. The art workshop with KNMA created a joyful and enriching space where children could explore their creativity, communicate their emotions, and build confidence in their abilities. Such experiences play an important role in supporting the holistic development and well-being of children."
This workshop was one of the activities undertaken by SOS Children's Villages India in an attempt to give children a chance to participate in creative activities outside the confines of a classroom. The organisation works in 22 states and union territories in India and is dedicated to working with children in different ways.
