Yesterday morning, the city experienced heavy rain, which created a feeling that the weather would be the same all day. But the scorching sun and rising humidity later created discomfort for individuals.

While the Meteorological Department has forecasted scattered rain up to August 15, i.e., Independence Day. Like in recent days, light rain is still expected. However, the weather can change suddenly, and a light rain alert can turn into heavy downpours. Now, let’s know further what today’s weather in Delhi will be like.

Today’s Weather in Delhi
There is no alert issued today for the city, according to the Meteorological Department’s report, However, light rain is expected in some areas. Meanwhile, the maximum temperature in the city may reach up to 34°C, while the minimum temperature could be around 23°C. There is also a chance of humidity after the sun comes out. If there is light rain or drizzle in Delhi today, the level of humidity may increase further.

Weather in NCR
Along with Delhi, no rain alert has been issued for the NCR today either. There is chance of light showers or drizzle with rain along with gusty winds. The maximum temperature in Ghaziabad, Noida, Faridabad, and Gurugram can reach up to 34°C. The minimum temperature of Ghaziabad and Noida is expected to be 26°C and 27°C. In Gurugram and Faridabad, the minimum temperature should be 25°C.

Heavy Rain Expected on August 14–15
After Raksha Bandhan, a heavy rain alert has been issued for Delhi-NCR on August 14–15. It is reported that there will be heavy showers accompanied by strong winds blowing at a speed of 25 to 35 kmph. Due to the rain, fluctuations in temperature across Delhi-NCR will be seen until August 15.
