RSWM has released its Sustainability Report FY2024–25 which shows progress in renewable energy, water conservation, recycling, and circularity.

The report highlights Panchtatva, which is RSWM’s sustainability framework inspired by the five natural elements. Each element represents a focus area- Agni (clean energy transition), Prithvi (regenerative resources), Jal (water conservation), Vayu (clean air and breathable textiles), and Akash (circularity).

On the social front, CSR interventions in FY25 reached 2.44 lakh beneficiaries, while the company continued to advance inclusivity and women’s participation in its workforce. Governance practices were also reinforced, with zero cases of corruption reported.

Speaking on the occasion, Riju Jhunjhunwala, Chairman & Managing Director and CEO, RSWM, said At RSWM, we see sustainability as both a responsibility and an opportunity to drive purposeful growth. Guided by Panchtatva, we are reimagining our industry by turning challenges into opportunities through sustainable innovation and nature-conscious initiatives. Our philosophy is simple – we only take what we can give back.”

Rajeev Gupta, Joint Managing Director, RSWM, added “We are increasing our share of green energy, transitioning all six of our boilers to biofuel, employing water management strategies, furthering circularity by scaling up our PET bottle recycling capacity, and prioritizing zero liquid discharge. We will continue to strengthen these initiatives, ensuring sustainability becomes integral at every level of the organization.”

The company also expanded its portfolio of sustainable fibres, including organic and recycled cotton, linen, hemp, jute, and silk as part of its commitment to responsible manufacturing.
